    Description

    RARE Neat.... old JC Higgins wooden, six player croquet set. Not too many this brand around which makes it more rare & collectible! Rack is 24.75" tall, mallets are 24" long with a 6" head. Hardwood mallet handles look like oak with white & brown , white & red, white & orange, White & yellow, White & green or White & blue stripes. Coordinating solid wood balls (1) has a chip as shown.  Stakes have bright, multi-stripes (1) the paint is more worn. There are 2 of those stakes (5) Metal "hoops" widgets I believe they may be called for in ground.  There may be at least 1 or more missing but only have 5. (These would be easy to reproduce) The set has been used and has wear as in scuffs, chips faded paint & other imperfections etc.~ All mallets are securely attached & entire set with maybe the exception of the 1 chipped wood ball is in usable condition! This is a nice,classic, vintage set for play or to decorate your country cottage porch.
