The centerpiece Tree of Life in Disney's Animal Kingdom stands 145 feet tall and features 325 hand sculpted carvings of both existing and extinct animal species.  Designed to mimic the baobab tree, the sculpture also features and impressive 100,000 leaves made of thermoplastic kynar, a material designed specifically to never fade or wear.
